Moving from USDA zone 4 to zone 8

Anna Smith was a teacher who willed her property to the county  so it could be made into an educational garden. This Children’s garden is maintained by a dedicated group of Kitsap County Master Gardeners. There is a butterfly house, railroad garden, espalier fruit trees, kiwi, strawberry bed, rose garden and several other special gardens.   Every summer this garden has a six-week educational program for children. Beans are planted on a teepee to explore and there is a hoop structure that also gets planted with vines so children can crawl through the tunnel. Sounds like a great time.
