During tonight’s garden walk I realized that I forgot one great mauve rose!
All of these mauve roses go along with my garden theme of “this would not grow in Minnesota”. Honestly, it’s not that they would not grow, but rather they would not survive the winter, so they became very expensive annual plants. I had ‘Wild Blue Yonder’ for two seasons and was very happy! But it lingered and was not vigorous. Then when I realized that mauve, along with yellow roses, are tender and not vigorous in zone 4. I stopped buying them, until now.
