The August garden is my time to enjoy the garden. There is not very much rushing around or stopping at every garden center I pass. Weeds are prolific and seem to grow wildly now that the ground is warm. One rain barrel is dry and the second is nearly dry. The fall and winter food plants planted in July have germinated but hungry insects seem to find every little tear in the Remay barrier cloth. Time to replace that!
Regardless of the weather, some plants never disappoint.
